On May 7 in Long Beach, California, Heather Perry did what no other barista has been able to do, she reclaimed her title as United States Barista Champion.  Competing against 49 baristas from around the country as well as  3 other past champions, Heather made it to the finals where she won by a whopping thirty points.   

    The key to her success was of course her espresso

, which worked great not only as an espresso, but came through so sweet and choclately in a cappuccino, and of course complimented her signature drink, "Espresso tre la Novela."  "Espresso tre la Novela" combined a light mixture of citrus and spice with a Faux Crema to create a multi-dimensional experience for the judges.

Heather will now take her US Championship Blend to Tokyo where she will compete against 45 nations for the title of World Barista Champion.
