Coffee Klatch Roasting, from San Dimas Ca, joined a group of 3 other small roaster/retailers to participate in the Best of Panama Live Internet auction on May 24th.
The group included Coffee Klatch, Barefoot Roasters from Northern CA, Paradise Roasters from Minnisota, and Victrola from Seattle. This was a first for the 4 small roasters who pulled resources to compete against larger roasters for the best coffee in the world. The auction lasted 6 hours and in the end the group won the bidding on the lot from Cafe Kotowa, Finca Carolina. This was one of 7 lots to score over 90 from a panel of world judges.
