This past weekend we celebrated being in business for 15 years. We had 2 parties, one at our San Dimas store and one at our Flagship Rancho Cucamonga Store. The parties had it all from live entertainment and cake to free espresso and machiattos all night. People just couldn't get enough. We also had give aways and raffles.
We had a guess the number of beans contest, with green beans, roasted beans, and chocolate covered espresso beans. During our two week anniversary celebration we had been selling raffle tickets for a home espresso kit. It a machine, grinder, steaming pitcher, shot glasses, and of course Award Winning Coffee Klatch Espresso. We sold the raffle tickets for $2 a piece and all the money is being donated Bikes for Rwanda, a wonderful cause the Clara has been working on for years. Over the 2 weeks we were able sell enough raffle tickets to raise $700. We were quite proud of our customers. So here is to hoping for another fantastic 15 years in this amazing business. |
