Coffee Klatch will be Celebrating Victory with FREE COFFEE Giveaway, 

On Wednesday, March 15th 2006, All Coffee Klatch locations will be
giving away a FREE 12 oz Cup of Coffee or a Shot of our Championship
Espresso which just won the Western Barista Championship in Petaluma
CA. This is the third consecutive Western Barista Championship for
Coffee Klatch and Heather Perry and the Free giveaway will last three
hours from 10am till 1pm.

Heather Perry of Coffee Klatch Roasting in San Dimas CA., won the Western Regional Barista Competition held at Roshombo Winery, February 21st 2005.  Barista’s are the coffee bartenders who serve up your latte, cappuccino, and specialty coffee drinks at your favorite coffee bar.

The competition featured the Top Baristi from all of California and Hawaii.   Heather is the 2003 United States Barista Champion and the defending Western Regional Champion.  Heather will represent Coffee Klatch and the Western Region in the United States Championships in Seattle later this year. 

During the competition, each Baristi prepares 4 espresso, 4 cappuccino, and 4 specialty drinks to a panel of judges from around the United States.  According to Heather: the key to her success was an espresso blend she helped roast specifically for this competition.

Coffee lovers have a winner in their midst. Coffee Klatch has been named by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) as a winner of the TOPS award for excellence in specialty coffee retailing for the current year. This award is given to only 35 of 10,000 coffee houses worldwide.

Coffee Klatch Roasting, from San Dimas Ca, joined a group of 3 other small roaster/retailers to participate in the Best of Panama Live Internet auction on May 24th.
