This year, Coffee Klatch was the only coffee company to receive the highest level Platinum TOPS Award. Matt Plante wins first Battle of the Baristas! |
Matt Plante wins first Battle of the Baristas competion held at the Coffee Klatch in Rancho Cucamonga, Sunday, March 26th 2006. The competition was a free pour challenge to find the best 'latte artist' barista in the area. Second place went to Larry Irwin (also of Rancho Cucamonga) with a beautiful Heart surrounded by rich brown crema.

 On Sunday, March 26th 2006, beginning at 7:30pm, the Coffee Klatch will be hosting a 'Free Pour' Latte Art competition at their Rancho Cucamonga location.
Baristas are the coffee bartenders who make great drinks every day. The Competition will feature the area's finest baristi going head to head in a rich and spirited display of their coffee creativity. To be able to create these beautiful patterns requires an advanced level of artistry and expertise requiring the barista balance all of the scientific factors resulting in a drink that tastes as good as fresh ground coffee smells.
